How long does a plan take to be approved?

Most municipalities are taking anywhere from fifty to ninety days based on past recent experiences.

How long does a drawing take to be completed?

Well, there isn't a set cost. A drawing's cost depends on its size in square area, in this case square feet or square meters multiplied by the current rate.

What is in a set of plans?

A standard set of drawings for Municipal Corp. submission from Art Nuvoe will contain; 3D external building renders, foundation plan, floor plan(s), elevations, sections, electrical & drainage plan(s), site plan & location maps, slab reinforcement & roof plan, building structural details. If it's a commercial project, an emergency exit plan may be required.

How much does a drawing cost?

A drawing's duration all depends on its size, complexity and client interaction related to specifications.

What documents do I need for a building application?

Typically you will need a copy of the land title, a surveyor's report and a current land tax certificate. If your project involves building on top of an existing building, a structural engineer report will be required.

What costs are associated with a building application submission?

For a standard project being prepared for submission there is the cost to draw, print, municipal submission (plus inspection in some instances) and if the drawing is above 300m2 in size then a structural engineer's stamp fee may be required.
